Basically, qualifying results count which means in 2010, if you don't make Q3 at all, you don't score any points. Simple.

Well, 2010 is quite boring actually with this system. But 2002 might become surprisingly close...

It would be only the time space of 2006-2010 where every qualifying session (i.e. Q1, Q2 and Q3) gives you points seperately.

Toyota only lost out on 3rd place in the Constructors Championship on countback. McLaren had 4 wins whilst Toyota won 1 race.
Funny ain't it, Force India edge out Williams by 1 point with a weaker car, but in 2010, Williams absolutely destroyed them in this alternative championship.
