RIP Loris Kessel. You forgot to mention his efforts running his own team: the awesomely named Apollon Fly, which was based on a 3-year old Williams, and was rejectfully slow.

And another driver for the Infinitive Hours Of Heaven.

Never heard of him but he was one of us so the respect goes out.

RIP
He was certainly gone too early.
I have a listing of F1 drivers who are still alive (from Paul Pietsch to Jaime Alguersuari) and Loris Kessel was somewhere around the middle in terms of age.

Re: RIP Loris Kessel
Loris was not only an F1 Reject but a reasonable sports car driver as well if I remember correctly. Rest in peace Loris.

RIP Mr Kessel.
My parents have seen him race in F1 back in the 70s and remember him fondly from the paddock.

RIP, and God bless his family.
Please fast-track Loris to the top of the potential profiles to be made, he sounds like an interesting chap.

Re: RIP Loris Kessel
Kessel Racing rings a bell actually...I think Plamen Kralev raced for them in the Ferrari Challenge series!
Re: RIP Loris Kessel
Kessel racing is the officious ferrari works team for the GT3 category (at least they prepare the cars, they don't always race them) but could well be that they're doing the challenge-ferraris to. Would certainly not be unlogical.
