Actually, it does matter. If Mecha can pull off a miracle, they can haul themselves ahead of Mitie in the championship.

Also, if Prospec has a sucky quali re-run and Dave Simpson hauls his ass up the grid, there is a small chance of Alitalia passing Prospec at the finish. So I'm hoping for a full rerun!!

He will - pay driver with random stats means more often than not they are absolutely dire - the only exceptions being Fleet, Al Faisal on occasion, and I think Mignolet (if I'm remembering correctly that he was designated a pay driver).

I reckon O'Lauchlan's a decent one too, just with precisely no consistency whatsoever.

Also, I have a feeling I may have missed something, but why is PQ going to be re-run?

Actually, I think that was the re-run that Shizuka used. Aerond was just so quick (for once  ) at doing the re-run that I think everybody missed it

I do like how people continually overlook David Neuberg. He's a pay-driver for me and has been outqualified only twice this whole year. And he's beaten Watkinson 2-0 too..

From the next race onwards, I'll only list the round counter for those teams that have not reached 4 prequalifying sessions yet.

Actually, now I see Shizuka ran the exact same time as Battani - is there a rule for splitting that one point, or does he get it? I don't mind it at all, but this is an interesting question.

Re : Arrowtech - 5+4 make 9 unless my primary school maths has failed me.

Just noticed that Arrowtech were just 0.066 seconds faster with their combined time over Revolution... Still Katayama looks good for here Revolution debut.

Boxtel got pushed back into pre-qualifying for the next round. We need to catch Alitalia and stay ahead of Prospec, so that's a good thing.

However, Alitalia could theoretically still profit from the Italian race given that there is a reasonable chance of either Boxtel or Prospec making the jump back into regular qualifying.
