There are still two big teams left, Yates and MB2. These are available to Neno, Seedstriker and Wallio and anyone new that wants to join.

Well, If there's no one else, I'll take M2B, but still bid for the Nissan works deal, if possible.

It was originally for Haas, but I have no problem if it's changed for MB2. Before anything, are you giving me both teams?

Yes you can have both and Nissan would be more likely to offer support to MB2 since it already has a two car operation but its your choice who you bid with. You can even try bidding with both.

I can take MB2 as my main team with Nissan, and have Haas as a customer until someone take it to manage. While I'm not that thrilled to manage 2 operations, it will be a nice challenge if there's no other choice.

That would be fine but McGlynn would of course have to abandon its bid for BMW support.

On another note both McGlynn and Victory In Jesus still need to purchase at least one REC and confirm the car numbers.

Works support RNGs

Even if you didn't make any bids, your team may have been approached by a manufacturer themselves. Their offers are listed in order of preference so teams lower down the list are dependent on the teams above refusing the contract.

Chevrolet Semi Works 1
Only RCR bid for a semi-works Chevrolet contract, as a long term Chevrolet team, GM are more than happy to support the team.

Chevrolet Semi Works 2
For the 2nd contract, GM would like to make an offer to the following teams in order of preference.

Dale Earnhardt Inc.
Chip Ganassi Racing
Jasper Racing
Morgan-McClure Motorsports.

Ford Semi Works 2
Both the Wood Brothers and Morgan-McClure have made bids. Wood Bros have a long history with Ford so hold a significant advantage.

1-80 Wood Brothers
81-100 Morgan-McClure

12, Wood Brothers

Dodge Semi Works
Only Petty made a bid but Dodge are also interested in Ganassi who have been more competitive recently.

1-80 Petty gets support.
81-100 Dodge make offer to Ganassi.

81. Petty just misses out on Dodge support as they look to Ganassi instead. If Ganassi refuses however, they may be back.

Toyota
Joe Gibbs and Bill Davis made a bid. Gibbs hold the advantage as a championship winning team.

1-90 Joe Gibbs
91-100 Bill Davis

40. Toyota choose to back Gibbs.

Nissan
MB2 made the only bid. Nissan are hesitant to support a mid-field team but with MB2 looking like they will provide cars to Gene Haas that gives Nissan at least three cars on the grid.

1-70 Nissan support MB2
71-100 Nissan hold off on entering NASCAR.

61. Nissan will support MB2.

Audi
Audi didn't receive any bids but would like to make an offer to Chip Ganassi.

Mercedes
Only DEI made a bid for Mercedes support. Mercedes are also interested in Ganassi but feels DEI is just as suitable.

1-90 Mercedes support DEI
91-100 Mercedes make offer to Ganassi

51 Mercedes join up with DEI.

BMW
BMW didn't receive any bids but will make an offer to first Petty then Jasper provided they enter a 2nd car.

Volvo
Bill Davis made a bid.

1-60 Volvo support Davis
61-100 Volvo hold off on entering NASCAR.

68. Volvo opt to hold off on entering NASCAR and will consider entering again next season.

Hyundai
Bill Davis also made a bid for Hyundai.

1-70 Hyundai support Davis
71-100 Hyundai hold off on entering NASCAR.

83. Hyundai opt to hold off on entering NASCAR and will consider entering again next season.

Mazda
Mazda received no bids but would like to make an offer to first Bill Davis, then Jasper provided they enter a 2nd car.

Manufacturer offer summaries.
The teams below have a choice of these offers.

Petty Enterprises have offers from.

Morgan-McClure is interested in the Chevrolet semi-works deal. We are also open to a Dodge semi-works deal. I also presume the Penske-Honda deal went off without a hitch?

Penske had the Honda deal locked already thanks to his Indycar team's successful partnership with their engines.

You may now make bids for sponsors. The sponsor list is now up in the starting post.

There are three tiers to choose from, you may bid for up to five sponsors per entry from each tier. RNGs will of course decide where each sponsor goes with a few exceptions who will only sponsor certain teams/drivers. Part time sponsor RNGs will only be run for teams that couldn't find any full time sponsors, primary or associate.

For the remaining teams that are yet to be picked, they will still take part and show up whenever they did during the real 2004 season. They will be in my control until a newcomer to the game wants them. They will not be making any sponsor or driver bids and will simply pick from your scraps.

Thanks for the wiki V8fan. Though you made a few mistakes in assuming that everyone's second teams were automatically satellites to their first teams. I've corrected so that only those who specifically stated that they wanted a satellite system. Conversely you can make satellite arrangements with teams owned by someone else if you wanted to, provided both parties agree to the arrangement.

Since Ganassi has opted for the semi-works Dodge contract, Audi will instead make an offer to Bill Davis.

So Bill Davis Racing need to make a choice between Audi and Mazda. Then the rest of the deals will slip into place from there.

I also still need to hear from Petty whether they will take the BMW deal.

Teams yet to make sponsor bids.
