Fell free to suggest a calendar (Between 12-18 rounds please). For the races, do you think that each round should be a double-header, or one long(ish) race?

Any race(s) at Nordschelife or Manx TT would have to be 1 long(ish) race. Otherwise, double-headers would be realistic and in-period.

Ooops forgot about that  I'll change it

About the Manx TT, does an end of season non-championship spectacular 24hours on the Manx TT sound good to you?

As the works Nissan team, Martini Nissan Racing has the following suggestions;
Monza
Imola
Autopolis
Sportsland SUGO

Also, can all the MNR cars have their GEN string set to 20 please.

Okay, this is much harder than I thought. Would anybody be willing to do the livery for my team? I have some ideas, but I'll save them for the next post so I won't seem too...demanding or anything.

@Pasta Maldonado, I've never done an rFactor skin before so I'm not sure what every component on the PSD relates to on the car. Can I send you a ZIP of my #8 car as a test to see if I'm doing it right?

Also, how do you replace the AutoTrader logos on the headlights with something else?

I think I'll nab two of the remaining entries whilst I can.

Team name: The Good Will Out (Race You)
Team nationality: Yorkshire :P

Driver 1: Richie White
Nationality: English
Aggression: 90
Composure: 3
Speed: 5
MinSkill: 2

Driver 2: Florence Briggs
Nationality: Welsh
Aggression: 82
Composure: 4
Speed: 3
MinSkill: 3

The team will use Volvo S40s, with Richie White running numero 45, Florence Briggs running numero 46.

Livery: Erm, white, with major sponsorship from Nestle, advertising the Yorkie chocolate bar on the bonnet and roof of the car. The rest of the advertising space will be used to advertise 'the new Oasis', which was of course the Yorkshire based band Embrace. Advertise their debut album 'The Good Will Out' on the doors of the car. On the back boot, a provactive statement (if allowed by the governing body) from the band, simply stating 'The Verve are shite'.

Now, could some kind sir on the forum whip this livery up? ;)

Of all the 1990s Britpop bands, The Verve are the only one that I dislike, because they were so bloody depressing/boring. Richard Ashcroft being a complete dick didn't help either

Leave mine for last or something then and I'll see if I can come up with anything in the meantime.

Colors: White or light gray + something purple-blueish (not too dark, but somewhat dark). Style is up to you. Names, numberplates etc can be placed wherever.
Sponsors: REDECARD (title, may or may not update my team name to add REDECARD to it as well, making it "REDECARD Astral Motorsport" or something) and one of the following: Dyonyx, Suncorp, MediaCom.
Extras (optional):
  • Sutherland: Small white wings, one on each side of the car. Emphasis on small. Shape is probably something like this, only longer and narrower (not as tall). And whiter. And with the inner black lines being light gray or something. Again, it's optional and it's a small detail. Add them wherever you'd like - my ideas would be either making them "sprout" from the back of the numberplates, or making them even smaller and putting them at the very front (but not on the hood) or at the back.
  • Gheorghiu: Personal sponsor - Connex. That is, if personal sponsors were allowed back then.
Sticking his neck on the line, one post at a time. Oh, and Singapore is still better than Monaco.

Well, why not? Seeing that it's 1998, I can't enter crash-king Nick Nurmester who was 10 back then (unless you consider his F1CC exploits canon), so I'll try to figure out something else...

Nurminen Engineering

#91 Volvo S40
Nathan Nurmester (elder half-brother of Nick)
AGR: 100 (it's all or nothing!)
COM: 1 (see above)
SPE: 6
MIN: 3

#92 Volvo S40
Nikolai Nurmovitsch (later known for his exploits in REECS)
AGR: 50 (if he was calmer than this, you'd think he was dead!)
COM: 6 (see above)
SPE: 2
MIN: 2

I will make liveries in the next few days.

E: Dammit, I thought there were still four entries left, and East Londoner took two so that there would still be two more left. Oh well, consider this to be a reserve entry in the case of someone failing.

Nurmester is British (he decided against using a Finnish license, unlike his brother), while Nurmovitsch is Russian (from the area which Finland lost in WW2).

The livery's nice, could you switch the designs on the bonnet and the roof though please? I'll take any numbers you want to give me.

Also, I think Kostas will find that Prism, while not a full works entry, does have a degree of manufacturer support from Nissan, meaning Martini is not the exclusive Nissan works team :P

Rockingham Oval - wish I had thought of that - that'll be epic. And a 24-hour non-championship Manx race sounds like Douglas's dream come true. Would this be addition to BCS's proposed round 9? Either way, Douglas will be over the moon! (PS I love BCS's calendar.)
