I'm back, although Alvaro Gonzalez's form has dropped off significantly.

Takahiro Fushida wrote:I'm just happy that the drivers are suspended for six more races. Certainly they are dangerous, but I have a plan to pay them salary not to race and to put safer drivers into those seats. That would be Richie Hearn and Memo Gidley. With that I would then proceed to hire Scott Dixon and Casey Mears. At last, Mears is probably a decline in quality from Hearn however Dixon is a massive upgrade.

Alright, since this one is an Alt. I thought that using our own drivers would be the norm (as most of the Canon Series), but with everyone just changing to real drivers only for the lulz is like this series belong in the 18-Metre Debut thread.

MRS comitted to the season
With the rumors of a buyout, the Board of Montreal Racing Services announced that they will race with their own drivers for the rest of the season, expecting that Union Saver Developments retires it's offer. "It was tempting, but our yound drivers deserve a chance to race instead of just putting a big name and lose money on the process. And let's not forget that these big names also started from the back of the grid. We're a new team on CART, so the rest of the field can't expect us to not have downs"

The rFactor Alternate F1 works in a similar way as it also allows for both real-life and fictional drivers. We pretty much have to do this when simulating real-life series, as we simply cannot ignore all of those drivers that took part in the real-life equivalent.

JLD will like to confirm that Bourdais will be replacing Jason Bright for Rockingham and Eurospeedway Lausitz in the #73, while Bourdais will be driving the #74 in place of Bell for Thruxton, Silverstone and Dijon. Bourdais will then return to the #75 after the European races for the rest of the season, except for Australia where he'll again be driving the #74 in place of Bell.

Nice to see Paul Tracy putting a good run of results together!

Still no changes to our driver line-up for the foreseeable future.

After having missed most of this season because of a lack of sponsorship, we are now back and plan on continuing our 10-year existence in IndyCar. Hearn has done decently enough. Gidley fell 5 laps down due to something and was able to keep pace with the leaders after that so I think he's safe for now despite the poor finish as he was able to unlap himself to 4 laps down.

Excellent, more consistency from Paul Tracy and Craig Lowndes has put in his best performance to date to nab 4th!

Ambrose-Milan Autosport: Where you can be first AND last

Also, would my post in this thread a day or two earlier have counted towards my continuation in this series? You said "post here or you're out," which made me confused.
LONG LIVE MARUSSIA

Things I was wrong about:
Kimi to Ferrari, Perez out of McLaren, Maldonado to Lotus, Kobash comes back, Gutierrez stays, Chilton stays, Boullier leaves Lotus.

I stream Ustream, we all scream for PRC.

What happened to my team? I'm slightly confused how i managed to miss all these changes. Anyway, if possible, we're back. With only Mignolet and Van Gottorp, as it turns out Bourdais found another ride with a team that is actually competitive.

Actually, to be honest, i assumed my team was still in there, because one of my drivers was. I didn't realise he changed teams  That's my mistake. If it's not possible, i understand, rules are rules.
Still i don't understand how i missed your post, as i read this thread almost everyday. So for the owner of Van Gottorp, i'm sorry for ruining his championship ambitions!
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

Generic did a well job in Rockingham, while Tenpecost not so. We'll continue as it is now

Actually, he triggered the pileup which made Dark77 to stop the race. So you were lucky that the results were taken from the lap before it.

Well, I don't like removing teams, but the rule was quite clear, post in the thread every few rounds to stay in the series. All you have to do is look in the thread every time some new results are up and if I say to post something, then post something. So I'll put This and FMecha on the waiting list.

The same old Pjotr-accident triggering. If this isn't a reason why should he be RotY, then nothing is!
