Mansell makes Comeback!

Post by DemocalypseNow »

Sort of.

He will be racing in the AUTOSPORT 1000Km race at Silverstone in September, the final round of the Le Mans Series, for Ginetta-Zytek.

Anyone think he will be competitive or just fail completely?

His 'tache contained some sort of mystical power that enhanced his driving talent. He needs to grow it back pronto if he wants to be fast in this race...

I always thought his talent was being in a conveniently-located top-of-the-grid car at all times.

If he ever wants his superlicense back, all he has to do is put his mustache on and approach Bernie...

Truer words have never been spoken. Mansells only ability was picking his teams well. When was he NOT soundly beaten by his teamie? 91 and 92 not applicaple as Patrese wasnt ALLOWED to beat him

BTW, thats Räikkönen with two K's and two N's. Not Raikonnen (Raikkonen is fine if you have no umlauts though)

Blasphemer.

(Note: Even then, he couldn't bring the lumber to Prost, who was in a far less desirable car.)

Mansell was soundly beaten in 88 by Schlesser (sp?) for the sheer fact that atleast he did something people remember from that season :D

So Nigel has made a comeback, what a surprise.

How many times has Nige retired and come back now ?
