Very Easy Trivia

Post by Popi_Larrauri »

1990- Jerez. A mechanic rescues from the car in pits the driver in a very "Kevin Costner in the bodyguard" style. Which driver?

1991- Imola. On heavy rain, 3rd on grid goes to the grass, its followed by 5th... Who were they, wich lap and what claimed the latter?

1991- Hey! Guys! I'am winning! Could you believe it? I'm Winning!

1991- Need a ride, big brother?

1996- Just Gimme dries! Who am I?

1998- Same team, same exact place in the circuit, same race, both engime detonates. Wich team? Wich drivers? Wich circuit?

there were more, but here at work things get a bit complicated. If someone wants to add more, just do it. Rules: No reference to material here in F1rejects. No comprobable data trough Wikipedia or alikes.

Kudos.

Gerhard Berger and Alain Prost on the warming lap. Alain Prost came up with a forgettable excuse for that ridicule, Berger managed to go to the podium.

Would that be Mansell giving a ride to Senna in Silverstone?

Popi_Larrauri wrote:1998- Same team, same exact place in the circuit, same race, both engime detonates. Wich team? Wich drivers? Wich circuit?

Must be Stewart and that crap Ford engine. I believe that both engines blew up in more than one GP in that year. Rubens Barrichello and Jan Magnussen/Jos Verstappen were the drivers.

Arrows - Salo & Diniz - Barcelona

Correct!!!!

Both Stewart blown engines at the start of the season in Melbourne starting grid, but they were not detonations in the literal sense. But, in Barcelona, both Cosworth-Hart engines simply exploded in a... well, Cosworth way, in the very same moment, very same place. AtlasF1 insider said, later, that for the next race Arrows had scheduled to blown both engines in front of the pits at the same time that Brian Hart had a heart attack on the pitwall. Couldn't find any videos about this.

And for the firts answer: Well, I was about to say that was Mansell in last corner, both answers can be correct. :)

Didn't that happen in 1999 with Rubens Barrichello and Johnny Herbert?

Sebastian Vettel - he just hasn't won them yet. After all, he has been hailed as the new Schumacher...

Sebastian Loeb?
