Alessandro Giardelli
Both RP Motorsport and Vincenzo Sospiro Euronova Racing are competing for Giardelli's signature. VS Euronova are his incumbent team, but they underwhelmed last season in comparison to RP Motorsport. Between keeping consistency and looking for a slight upwards move, it's a 50/50 decision.

18. Giardelli values continuity over opportunism, rejecting RP Motorsport for the second time in two years.

Victor Martins
The French driver has offers from Prema Powerteam and RB4 Saxon Racing. The latter are F4 debutants, the former are a junior formulae powerhouse.

69. Martins takes the #28 Prema machine.

Dennis Hauger
Hauger was originally promoted by Prema to their Formula 3 team. They have now reneged on that deal and are trying to demote him back down to Formula 4. Does he agree with them that he needs another year in F4, or will he throw a fit at his F3 contract being torn up and storm out of the team?

81-100 Absolutely fuming, he walks out to try and save face
37. Hauger begrudgingly accepts being bumped back down to F4.

Enzo Fittipaldi
The Brazilian driver is doing a full campaign in South American F4. In theory he could do both series, missing only Round 5 at Treviso in the Italian calendar while doing the full SAF4 series. Pulling it off would mean a lot of transcontinental travel, perhaps too much to do a proper job in either series.

First Round Driver Mentor RNG

Luca Badoer
Badoer has two offers this year; to stay on at Abarth Leonetti, where his coaching helped Paolo Leonetti on his way to last year's title, or to switch across to Prema Powerteam. The latter may be bigger, but he's already settled in well at the former.

Alexander Wurz
Having missed out on poaching Badoer, Prema now turn to Alex Wurz for sage advice. Wurz though has loftier diplomatic ambitions - can he fit this into his schedule as well?

Pedro de la Rosa
PDLR has been offered a renewal by Memo. Happy with his work turning Torelli from an erratic upper-midfielder to a title challenger last season, he seems reasonably happy to stay put for another season.

Christian Klien
Klien continues to be active in racing, and has shown his willingness to get stuck in to new opportunities. A chance to help young drivers improve is a challenge that interests him, therefore.

Jarno Trulli
Trulli acted as driver coach for his own team last season - will he continue in the role, or insist it is given to someone else?

Vincenzo Sospiri
Like Trulli, Sospiri also acted as driver coach for his own team last season.

Mikhail Aleshin
Aleshin has been part of the SMP setup for some time now. The F4 team's management want him there, but other members of the SMP motorsport programme argue it is distracting him from his duties on the other side of the pond.

Giancarlo Fisichella
Fisichella has been approached by Coloni to assist them with driver coaching duties. While they once collaborated on dual ownership of junior formulae teams, this arrangement ended some time ago, though it at least helps they have an existing (if faded) relationship. His strong FCA ties help however in regards to the Formula 4 series specifically..

As a result of David Luis Chavarria being joined by David Vidales as Teammates, Chavarria will be nicknamed and often be referred to as "Lucha" in account of the first pronunciations of his middle and last name to avoid name confusion with his teammate with the same first name as his. Obviously, his original full name will still remain intact on all the Results and Standings.
