That's not him in the picture, though, is it?

Unless he has actually changed.

They've now changed it. That's a shame as I wondered who that other guy was and I wanted to throw it open to the group.

It was Graeme Lowdon, no? A man who probably wouldn't hurt a fly...

Bingo! That's who it was, I could not recall his name (old age again). I like that you've posted a character reference for him too. In case people start crossing the road to avoid him.

+1

From my research into the 1994 F1 season, heard that Jos could be quite a suborn person. Especially since the B194 needed to be driven a certain way in order to extract its max potential.

Personally think Jos needs to spend a bit of time in a Amsterdam cafe ;)
Coming January 2019 a new F1 book revisiting 1994.

In theory Race Festival in Zandvoort would be an excellent meetup. It is organised by Frits van Eerd, the biggest collector of Minardis in the world, which he brings to the event to demo (including Albers and Jos actually driving their own former race cars). It hosts a round of BOSS GP, full of old F1 cars.

Shame unlimited money isn't a thing :(

Somebody posted a video of one of those events in the 'reject youtube thread' sometime ago and it did look like a great event (for any F1 fan, not just Rejects like us). I hope Jos doesn't kick back with a few Oranjebooms once he's finished driving, don't want any unpleasantness.

It is a pity we can't all meet up due to the constraints of finance and geography. It's be nice to show you all I'm not as annoying as you think I am :deletraz:

EDIT - Not the youtube thread, this one..https://gprejects.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7286

If this road trip to Amsterdam ever becomes a thing, I'm game to join. I live above an Irish pub that shows F1 races live :D :D

What is it about planning road trips to Amsterdam at the moment? Guys on my nursing course were wanting to do the same thing!

Does it really require that much explanation? I'm sure everyone here knows what Amsterdam is most famous for :D I live in a pretty touristy area, so it's overflowing with tourists every single day, many of them British (and stupidly drunk).

But the real question is, who would win in a paddock fight between Jos the Boss, and Adrian "glasser" Sutil? No camp running allowed

It's the city's culture and history, right? Like the Anne Frank Museum?

Well don't forget Jos had in the past run over his ex wife with his car. I doubt Sutil even stands a remote chance.
