1999 Alt-Indy Racing League (SEVERAL TEAM SPOTS AVALIABLE)

Post by Gonzalez »

After many months of canon series planning, as well as some idiocy and a few failures of me running one, i can feel this would be the last for a long time i will plan/propose another one.

Who still remembers my attempt of running CART 2000 and unfortunately that didn't go too well?

I have decided to give another series a practise which i can hopefully move it into canon soon if i have the capabilities for it. So i bring in 1999 Alt-Indy Racing League.

1999 Alt-Indy Racing League

This series would be done on NR2003.

RULES:

Cars
The Cars will be based on the same mod as the V8 Indycar Series. (1999-2000 Mod)

Numbers:
Any number between 2-99. If I do decide to do a CART 2000 1 will become avaliable but only reserved for the reigning world champion.

Drivers:
Real-Life and fictional canon drivers will be allowed. There will be no RNG to decide for Real Life Drivers as this is non-canon, The series will contest up to 28 full time drivers per race with up to 6 Part-Time Entries.
You can only enter one full Time Team per person.

Notice: Indycar's main desire would be to have most teams to be real-life Indycar teams as well as most drivers to be Real-life. This is to help run the series as closely as possible.

Weekend

As this will be a non-canon league as a attempt to make it Canon in 2000, there will be a two day race weekend. 1 qualifiying session on Saturday and then the race on Sunday.

Points

Similar to the 2000 Indycar points system with a few tweaks. This System is currently provisional and subject to change.

There is an option of painting, but since it's a non-Canon League, if you do not wish to paint, do let me know and i will simply put your Drivers names down on a Random/Plain Template Car.

The requirement for this league is 2 Full Time Drivers per team. I would suggest adding another Full-Time driver to confirm your team's entry eligible.

Oooops. Sorry about that. Forget about my entry for now, in that case.

You can also enter 1 Part time entry even if you dont own a full time team. I would suggest keeping Lyn St James as I would love to see how she does in the series.

To those that have yet to enter a team here, please don't be shy. This league is no big deal nor it's a canon league. It's just simply for fun. I am trying to run one as an attempt to gain experience and hopefully step up in canon. If it all goes well, it all goes well, or if it dosen't go well, well i guess i've tried and gave it my best shot.
