That southeast section is mimicking a stadium area, which is why it's compact and slow. I don't realise I create two exact same corners  .But congratz to Bleu

The idea is to build a circuit in United States. The location must be namesake of cities listed here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_l ... ity_limits

The area from the penultimate corner up to second corner may be purpose-built, otherwise it must use existing roads.

The distance must be between 4 and 6 kilometres.

And here are the rankings:

5. Simtek: Not enough real straights although there are lots of places where you can go fast.

4. AdrianBelmonte_: Two-sided circuit, where I like that start/finish but don't like the amount of hairpins.

3. RonDenisDeletraz: Apart from the long back straight, this doesn't really attract me.

2. dr-baker: I kind of like idea of building start/finish straight on the airport but overall it's too simple circuit.

1. peteroli34: Some very nice long corners which I like. Not 10/10 circuit but the best of this bunch.

i ain't afraid of no ghost

Your challenge is to create a circuit around a ghost town it must be no longer then 6km and you may not knock down any buildings.

the places you can use can be taken from this list

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_g ... by_country
A separate link from this page takes you to Canada and the USA you can also use that.

Blast to the Past

Basically, what you need to do for this is make a circuit that would be best suited to F1 cars in the 1960's. The course must be at least 75% on roads (if you go on roads that aren't paved, I will assume they are paved just for the sake of this), be under 15km long, and not cut through any buildings. Other than that, go berserk.

So Simtek wins, although the rest if the Top 5 were pretty close as well. Can be hard to judge between so many different types of circuits :P

Ok, a challenge. Right.

Your circuit must be within the confines of a golf course. That's the only rule. Go crazy!

I'm pretty sure a golf course was obliterated to make this circuit:
Image

However, if that's not an acceptable entry then I'll go with this effort, which flattens the home of golf, St Andrews.

If you can prove that you were the original designer of the Indianapolis road course then I will accept that as an entry! ;) Though be aware, I may like the St. Andrews entry even more; the scenery at the very least is much prettier.

Excellent news!

In that case, your new challenge is to build a London Grand Prix circuit. You can use public roads, paths in parks which we can assume will be widened, or even an airport if you reckon you can get away with it and not completely shut down the airport. Circuit should ideally be F1 standard.

Other than that, go wild.
