F1R Cycling Challenge 2017 Tour of Oman

Post by Shadaza »

It's back, following the collapse of the 2015 season, in which the entire operation was closed for drug smuggling, the famed cycling series is back in action.
We begin with a one off special in the Kingdom of Oman.

There are 6 stages, 4 sprints (of various difficulties) 1 hill stage and 1 mountain stage. Teams may enter 8 riders
There are multiple prizes to be won in tours:
General Classification
Points (or Sprinters) Jersey
Mountain Jersey
and Young Rider (for under 26's)

Here is the template for entry.

The full Alitalia roster bar T Voeckler will return. The team will be known as Delacroix-Serrano Voeckler.

I will make my ToO selection on the 20th, if that's okay.

Foster's Good Cycle will most certainly return, retaining our entire roster from before. Herrmann Mann is also back to manage the squad.

Go on then, my team will return as well, though keeping in mind the two-year difference I will alter the name slightly. Due to the success of the team, Martini have been signed alongside Hitachi as the team's sponsors. It's new name will be Hitachi-Martini Pro Cycling and will now use the three letter HIM abbreviation. The nationality remains Japanese. The team roster will remain the same as before, and the Tour of Oman line-up will be as follows:

Hitachi-Martini Pro Cycling
Jerry Fletcher (GBR) - Hills, Recovery, FS
Katsuko Hondo (JPN) - Flat, Sprint, Acceleration
Yuki Shizzuno (JPN) - Hill, Resistance, FS
Taki Takashita (JPN) - FS, Sprint, Acceleration
Claudio Bonotellio (ITA) - Mountain, Endurance, Resistance
Francois Le Bleu (FRA) - Hills, Endurance, Resistance
Oleg Brutschev (RUS) - Flat, Hills, Fighting Spirit
Paddy Quinn (IRE) - Flat, Endurance, Sprint

Also, I've finally got round to doing a proper jersey for the team - let me know if this works Shadaza!

So far so good, 3 teams completed on the database so far.

If possible, could you please select a team of 8 riders for the tour, It is taking me so long to port riders over that I would much rather do it as I need too.
