Huh, well I'm 17 in 5 months. I'll never understand these kids, what with their music, clothes, shoes.....

To be fair, you'd be doing well to be more anonymous than me. I spent the best part of a year posting like once a month, so for roughly a year, I felt like the new kid on the forum. Thats all changed recently though..

In my old days, things on this forum were totally different! The kids of today are up to no good! Ah, you wouldn't understand! (26 is way too young to turn into a bitter old man  )

How sad. Didn't you say that about two thirds of the member count is spambots once?

It wouldn't surprise me, spambots are so abundant on this forum, that at the F1 Rejects end of year awards, there's even a category for Spambot Of The Year.

Well, here's the hard data. Of the forum's 2000 members, 1250 (62,5% of the total member count) have never posted or all of their posts have been deleted. Of course not even nearly all zero-posters are spammers, although this is countered with many spambots that still have posts preserved in, for example, the "Wonderful world of shoe spam" thread due to being exceptionally funny.

So I'd say 56-60% is a rather accurate estimate on the percentage of spambots from the total member count.

So about 750 people aren't spambots. Maybe I should read the "Wonderful World of Shoe Spam" thread.

How so you find out where you are in post count? I was 1973rd to join on 26 March 2013 yet I post about 5.5 times average in a day and have 239 posts.

There is a section called members which pulls up a list of members. Each page has 30 members. Click on the word Posts twice. I found you to be in 143rd in total number of posts.

Thanks, Onxy for the helpful advice! Interesting to see that from page one to page forty-two is mostly spambots.

Everyone is a better driver than Cecotto!

Even Andy Neate? Giancarlo Serenelli? Ricardo Teixera? Otto Stuppacher? BTW how would FR.3.5 go?

Andy Neate is a terrible driver, but in the BTCC Chris James was worse.

No he wasn't. Chris James was slow but he was never a danger to other drivers through his sheer incompetence.

Everything's great.
I'm not surprised about anything.

Yes he was. Look Neate at least had some moments to remember. 3rd on the Grid at Oulton Park and coming within 2 laps of a podium at Brands Hatch in 2011. He also led the race at Croft last year as well. But i can't think of one good moment Chris James has had apart from his ES team winning 2 races which the other guy scored

No, he wasn't. Chris James might've been slower than Neate, but he never put anyone else in danger through his sheer incompetence. Like Neate did at Brands Hatch last year, going off, then rejoining straight into another car, causing a pretty nasty 3-car crash. Chris James was never that dangerously incompetent.
