RIP Maria Teresa de Filippis

A really sad day for motorsport, as Maria Teresa de Filippis, Formula One's first-ever female driver, has passed away today, aged 89.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

We'll be fine. It's Canon, non Kodak.

A driver that Fangio himself said went too fast. Who knows what she might have achieved if she got a drive with a top works outfit? RIP Maria.
