-Roberto Moreno, on the same day as Coutlhards legendary crash.
-Hamilton and Rosberg in 2008 (maybe you can count Raikkonnen too, as he was the one they crashed into)
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

You beat me at posting that one. Also Johnny Herbert came in to the pits too fast that day and had to abort his entrance however he didn't crash.

IIRC Maldonado & Rosberg did a Hamilton at China during free practice sessions in 2014 & 2009 respectively

Berger crashed on the pit exit twice IIRC - in the race at Portugal 1993 and qualifying at Silverstone in 1994.

Wasn't Berger involved in the Patrese Incident in 1992 also at Estoril

What about drivers running over the pitcrew? Does that count?

Also, don't wish to be a stickler but I feel this belongs more in the JDD Forum.

Didn't Jean Alesi crash driving out of the garage once when he was driving for Prost? That might be a figment of my imagination but if it did actually happen then it's absolutely legendary. :)

Also Schumacher and Webber colliding in the pitlane once in practice at Magny-Cours when Webber was driving for Jaguar!!

That does sound like the kind of thing Alesi would do, but I can't remember it myself.

Alesi did however run into his new Benetton mechanics during Sunday morning warmup at Oz 1996 (not the way to endear yourself to a new team) and then blame it on the oil or dust that environmental protesters had left behind.

I remember someone crashing (and 'someone' doing a stop-and-go just after he crossed the chequered flag :D ) in the pitlane during Silverstone '98.
I believe it was one of the backmarkers, I think of Nakano or Takagi, who damaged his rear-wing.

And at Nurburgring in the early 2000's with one of the jaguars spinning out of the pit-entry back on track.

David Coulthard. Could he have a 'Crashed In The Pitlane And On A Formation Lap' thread all to himself?

Yeah, I'm sure NO ONE has thought of David Coulthard.

(Answer: he's the first guy in the first post.)

As far as I remember, Max Papis brushed the pit lane exit at Silverstone in 1995 and ended up sailing into the gravel from the damage when he tried to turn into Becketts.

Quick edit to say I seem to remember someone managed to collect some of the airlines used by the teams for the wheel guns, swiping out one of the elements of their rear wing or was it one of the X-wings used at the time mounted on the side pods (helping them get banned), that would tally up with the 1998 season, possibly the Tyrrell previously mentioned. They usually uset to have a mechanic holding all the stuff out of the way but someone managed to clip them.

It's more embarrassing to park in the wrong pit than to crash... just saying.
