Should it write diffrent ?

Gramatically it needs quite a lot of work, maybe by someone that has English as their first language (i.e. I can do this). Also maybe you should use your Dutch connections to go find out some more information! Is Wim really telling the truth? Or is he just a bit ashamed that he tried and failed to get an F1 team going?

Also, the pages should probably have an accuracy classification, as in, whether a team was merely rumoured, only had some brief plans, had made it all the way to production, all the way to a race weekend, etc.

So, you could have something like; Rumoured / Concept / Stillborn / Completed

So, for example, Eyckmans F1 would only be rumoured, Trebron would be a Concept, the Honda RA099 would be Stillborn and the Lola T97/30 would be Completed.

I know my Grammar sucks if i need to write down a complete story can't help it.

Believe me i tried as hard as i could to get more information about Eyckmans but it seems actually no one seems to know him from the period 92 - 99.....
I actually asked Olav Mol, the Dutch F1 gourou, about this and he only said "It rings a bell" but i did actually know more then him !

I agree with the accuracy classification.
Haven't had thought about it yet, gonna put the teams the classification

Wim Eyckmans was Belgian, right? I think you'll have to search with Belgian journalists and racing magazines, but i don't know which of them already existed back then. Perhaps Turbo Magazine (which i think is the biggest magazine, and at least i know it existed in the nineties, unlike most other magazines) has some connections or knows about some rumours.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

So, for example, Eyckmans F1 would only be rumoured, Trebron would be a Concept, the Honda RA099 would be Stillborn and the Lola T97/30 would be Completed.

The categorisation sounds like a good idea, although it could be slightly refined - I'd keep the rumoured and concept categories, then I think that there could be a category for cancelled cars, which would cover cars like Brabham's BT51 (the car that they originally intended to use in 1983 but had to abandon when the flat floor regulations were passed) - i.e. to cover cars that got to the point where they were partially or completely built but abandoned before they were completed due to some external event impacting the team.
After that, there could be a test bed category for cars that were built with the sole intention of being used for testing (that would cover cars like the Honda RC101 and RA099, Toyota's TF101 or the Alpine-Renault A500). Last of all could be that completed category, which could cover cars that were entered but withdrawn (e.g. the Brabham BT46C or McLaren M26E, which were tested but withdrawn from the races due to design flaws) or cars like the T97/30, which were entered but failed to start for various reasons.

Lotus 88 for being so inovotive, it got banned, so that could come under completed. They tested it at long beach and silverstone where the R.A.C let the car race but banned it when FISA told them the event shall be stripped of world championship status if you let that thing race. So they banned it

The Lotus 88 is an interesting car in as much as the question of whether it really was legal or not is perhaps still open to question (although there are many who would argue that it was legal, I do recall seeing one or two figures coming up with plausible arguments that the car was technically in breach of the rules on moveable aerodynamics).

It is an interesting what if car though - although the concept did have potential, from what I can recall the actual times that the Lotus drivers set when they tried the cars out in the free practise sessions were not that much of an improvement (if any) over the times that the drivers were setting with the more conventional car that Lotus were using at the time.

Matteo Messina Denaro would probably know! I don't know, maybe you should ask around some escort services in Milan, they'll probably know.

I accidently misread that headline with an extra 'u' inserted somewhere in it. But as this is a metcalfe-friendly forum, I won't say where.

Has the HRT F113 been added to the database? I realise there's not much information about it: do we even know if it was Carbotech or Formtech building the chassis?

We have to put this project on hold and maybe abandon it.

We don't have the time the coming weeks / months to actually look at it.
Sorry guys.

I read that article already and it was a fascinating article. I never knew that they had this previous attempt at entering F1 prior to owning Brabham in its death throes.

Would have been nice to see if Pirro's prediction of a top 10 at Monza would have been possible. Had it been successful I wonder if Brabham would have folded earlier?

Im filling the site now with the teams , projects etc.

Im finally reached the 50's though im a bit stuck. What should i do with teams such as AFM(1952) Ace Garage - Rotherham(1959) they did enter a race but failed to qualify or finish the race. Though they used a car that already have been raced.

Recomment them as unracedf1 ? or not ?

Or to give an even better example the AAW Racing Team team from 1974. Leo Kinnunen was the driver of it.
Though i always though he was a Surtees driver. He is since the car was a Surtees TS16. He failed all the races he entered to qualify.

Is this a team itself or not ?
