They said they intend to "listen to the wishes of the fans, including offering lower prices for spectators worldwide", so they'll probably choose something hip, like Formula Ultra or Formula X. Even though i'm a Williams fan, I'd probably go and watch this breakaway series, especially if ...

AFAIC, a continuation of an entry is the same team. But oh well. Edited to add: Has Giancarlo Fisichella ever been Reject of the Year? He was 2nd on the 2008 Reject of the Year Podium. He was very high in the 2001 and 2004 rankings and he'd be in the top 5 in my 2000 rankings. To be fair he's never...

Re: The Red Bull disaster

Nah, the Red Bulls, Toro Rossos, Renaults and Toyota lose points for the shark fin covers. The best-looking car on the grid - in a year of drop-dead gorgeous weaponry - is easily the Brawn BGP-001. I'm not a fan of the Red Bull-esque nosecone fingers: I'd say either the BGP001, VJM02, or the FW31, ...

I hope I'm not stealing Jamie and Enoch's thunder here, but 2009 marks F1 Rejects' tenth year, and such a milestone deserves recognition in a thoroughly Rejectful way: the biggest Reject of the past ten years! Personally, I'd go for an experienced driver who has raced a good few Grands Prix like Sato, Klien, Liuzzi or Davidson. I would also go for a young, promising GP2 driver like Di Grassi, Zuber, Petrov or Grosjean. Bruno Senna will be a good bet as well. A mix of youth and experience in a team is usua...

There were great overtaking action those years, Piquet over Senna in 1986, Hakkinen over Brundle in 1992. Too bad it became an outdated race track. About the only good thing about the track is it's dubious honor of being the debut track for HWNSNBMs first F1 adventure. A "great" race at H...

McLaren Mercedes haven’t scored in the last three races. That hasn’t happened since 2004, when David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen finshed out of the top eight in Spain, Monaco and Canada. But what about all those new teams submitting entries? Surely there aren't that much better drivers around, so I figure one of them could hire Pantano, maybe for one year or something. I would love to see Jordan, Minardi, Sauber, Arrows and Ligier return. But I would want Jordan to be competitive like back in 1999. Tyrrell, Brabham and Lotus would be good as well, just so there are about 19 or 20 teams again.
