Re: Italian GP Discussion thread

Speaking of Ron Dennis, I saved a quote by him from an interview earlier this year (March 6th); I'm not easy to be around, but at the end of the day, if you travel through life with me, it's normally a lot more fun than people think. I realise the majority dislikes Ron but I have always thought of h...

I give you props for doing it, Rob.

If I were to do it, afterwards I would nominate Luca Badoer, Luca Badoer's mother and Hugo Hakkinen.

Proud of Ericsson today, a solid qualifying effort and only 0.969s behind Lotterer.
His future looks very bright at this point in time.

What about when Yuji Ide lost his superlicence? Not as much. I never fully understood Yuji, and I'm not talking about the charming language barrier which was as vast as the coast line outside Sumoto. No Susie in FP1 any more. Life feels meaningless.. According to absurdism, humans historically attempt to find meaning in their lives. Traditionally, this search results in one of two conclusions: either that life is meaningless, or life contains within it a purpose set forth by a higher power. Susi...

And yet they have the Volvo 240. I would estimate Lada Riva has been sold in the millions in Italy/Russia through the decades, figures that should dwarf that of the 240. I'm not knocking the 240, far from it. It was the first car I ever drove in real life (while practicing for my license) so it has ...

Off topic randomness but I was recently thinking about how many mugs of tea it was that you drank in one day, Jim? Was it 23 or 24?
How did you even survive that!? You must have gotten hyponatremia, surely?

Why no Ladas in GT6? My grandmother had a red Lada Riva back in the day (similar to the one below). I got to drive it a few times and let me tell you they are epic. The gear lever/shifter is about 50cm long xD, and it handles very strange. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSP1jpN...
