I wonder if we lost more time in the straights or in the corners. I expected a bit better from Spa.

Re: Rider of the Carpathians – Round 5: Restart

Round 5 - Spanish Grand Prix Restart Circuit de Catalunya usually doesn’t give us the most exciting race of the season. It did not this time either. But oh, how differently it started… The fifth race of the season was coming up, but journalists declared the restart of the championship the second ti...

Re: The New Boys on the Block-YOU Make the Decision.

I don't know if there was a regulation against testing on a track after the Grand Prix was held there in 1983. If not, then let's go back to Paul Ricard , at least we could see just how much the new parts count. If not, then Zolder. Rouen is not possible for the same reason that Spa wasn't possible ...

Re: The New Boys on the Block-YOU Make the Decision.

Yay! Our improvements worked A turbo is a turbo, even if it's a Hart. It will beat the normally aspirated engines on fast tracks but we need better performance in the corners. And no, I don't consider Paul Ricard to be a typical fast track because you need high grip or you lose too much time in thos...

Design 3. It seems that we have the necessary engine power but not the grip in twisty tracks. Leaving things as they were definitely won't help us to improve. If it doesn't work, we can revert any time to the old configuration.

I don't think so. The speed would be just too high in the corners, the drivers simply couldn't keep the cars on the track. Not with the current aerodynamics package at least.
