Re: 2010 German Grand Prix - Discussion

...as the action itself was made worse by the resentment of Massa and Smedley... I don't quite agree with this sentiment. I would say that the action itself was made apparent by the resentment of Massa and Smedley . Their actions might have made it worse for Ferrari, but they didn't make it worse f...

Re: 2010 German Grand Prix - Discussion

Isn't it strange that Vettel nearly shoving Alonso into the wall at the start (the reason Massa was in the lead at the first corner to start with!) has barely warranted a mention by anybody! Indeed! In fact if Vettel hadn't been such an idiot, the whole "team orders" bruhaha would never h...

Re: Hypothetical question - consequences of no regulations?

Apologies to Porrima, if this is considered a threadjack, but if the result of no regulation would be the eventual collapse of F1, then let's limit the question a bit. If you could could eliminate just one rule or regulation in F1, what would it be? Why? What would the effect be in your opinion? Or ...

Re: 2010 British Grand Prix Discussion

Isn't that a sort of mute point considering we have pretty much figured out he only ever says one of about 3 or 4 phrases? Yeah well... maybe thats why he is a world champion while Mark ain't Moot, not mute btw. I just figured on this being a joke on Kimi appearing mute in many press conferences......

Re: IndyCar 2012 - the ICONIC Project

I think it would be a terrible idea for F1. It might be fine for IRL. Even without the negatives of the additional requirements that are being talked about in IRL, requiring even 1 major component to be uniform seems like it would stifle creativity and technical competition in what is supposed to b...

Re: 2010 British Grand Prix Discussion

I think that's the only point they're making here. The rest is just slander. Slander is spoken. Libel is written Oh boo hoo. I didn't take enough time to think it was a written column and not an interview. No offence intended. I just figured that if a Finn could correct a Brit on the use of English...

Re: Community Podcast Is Back For More

I guess I could make a comeback and co-host it Just depends when you're planning to do the recordings. Sorry mate, I don't think it will work out this time. Besides, I've already got a co-host now. Glad to hear it. I hope we'll get a good sampling of as many different accents as possible. I find th...

Re: Now I know why Williams isn't doing so well

I almost feel that I need to retract my original statement after the last two races. Rubens and Williams have improved greatly. I'd like to say they are no longer performing subpar, except in golf it's good to be subpar.

Is there a driver on the grid with a larger delta between qualifying and race pace than Button?

Re: Now I know why Williams isn't doing so well

Yep, designing golf clubs and unnecessarily slow web sites. At least the web site mirrors the car. I like the fact that the driver has a diffuser. Assuming the development time is pretty long on golf clubs, I wonder if the driver got it before the car did? Do you think it will have an F-duct soon?

Now I know why Williams isn't doing so well

Re: F1 drivers salary:points ratio

[Controversial] Does anyone think F1 drivers are overpaid? In the same way we complain that business executives are overpaid. I mean, seriously, the thought that someone gets $45M a year for racing a car is sickening. [Insert comment re global poverty here.] For that matter, does anyone think that ...

What are you on about? What on earth is PRON ? And you're not going to try to sell us on-line learning opportunities are you? Sorry about that, it's just a new interweb way of writing "porn". Thanks for the welcome, hopefully I won't bring down the average intelligence level too much!

Re: 100418 Bahstralaysian Edition

That was a colossal effort by the boys (how come so few girls are interested in F1?). As someone who has tried to organize people and content on the web before, I can vouch for what a giant pain in the ass it can be to do. Besides all the work, there are the myriad distractions: ⋅ PRON &sd...
