I vote for the FIA as ROTY if even more insanity is found. {tristan117 - previous post} How about the requirement that cost-regulated teams tell the FIA by December 15 of the year preceding competition who all their "key" staff, consultants, suppliers and agencies will be for the upcoming...

That is a yucky regulation change. I missed it when writing about the changes in my blog, probably because I was still so miffed at the FIA shortening the entry window so that teams must sign up in the fourth week of May? Also, what's the betting that the change was not highlighted on purpose? F1 i...

I think they are the new Honda. They will get poles, podiums and everything else except wins for awhile. They will get one win from Timo GLock, then fold because of the bad economy. I have bought the movie rights to Toyota vs. Honda: Clash of the Kinda Unsuccessful (in F1) Japanese Car Manufacturors.

The return of low fuel qualifying is great news. Qualifying will mean something again. Also, the cars that are best on a full fuel load or have great race pace may not be the ones that are fastest on low fuel, so the race result should be different to the grid. Yeah!! remember in 2005 FIA tried out...

Piquet is now surely going to be gone by Europe if he doesn't come on the podium in Bahrain. I mean, he went through how many wings? He spun more times then anyone could count. Even the US commentators were saying, "Nelson Piquet is one of those drivers who really needs to step up his game"...

Nelson Piquet Jr. He hasn't received a ROTR this year so far. I'm guessing he should get one before he is fired. If he actually does well, Flavio Briatore gets the Reject of the Race for his big mouth.

I understand that he has a lot to put into account when he makes a circuit. However, he can make it a little more interesting. I mean tracks like Valencia can barely keep people awake. I find it strange that that Michael Schumacher, 7 time World Champion is 2nd place on this leaderboard. I think it would it be hilarious if Schumi himself had another record: Most ROTR awards! I'm guessing that Fisi would pass him soon enough it that had happened.

Piquet Jr. and Kovaleinen take out a third of the field in separate first lap incidents that knock out both Force Indias, Bourdais, Nakajima, and about 6 other cars and both get fined an inordinate amount of money by the stewards which they can just as easily pay off, with a tip.
