Re: Identifying reject cars in disguise?

The Williams looks like a FW13B with a different air intake slapped on. No idea what the McLaren is, but I'm willing to bet it's something crap from circa 1987/88 with a few bodywork amendments. Maybe it's just the air intake and engine cover that looks like a Lola then - that's what made me think ...

That Williams looks suspiciously like a 1993 Lola to me - if I'm right then it really is a supreme reject in disguise!

Re: The Austrian GP

I thought the race was mostly boring, though it simmered nicely up until the end, and Verstappen vs Leclerc was a refreshing battle! Fantastic drive from Verstappen to bring it back, in the current year. That's probably going to be my comeback drive of the year award for this year. But without that...

Re: The Austrian GP

Was it really that amazing? Good yes, but not sure I'll be talking about it in 20 years time. Gasly is doing a brilliant job of making him seem even better than he is, for a start (nice to see I was right about him being massively over-rated) I doubt if the stewards will do anything. They certainly ...

Bloody typical. The first non Mercedes win of the year and it's Max. Forgive me for not joining the whole of Sky F1 in jumping with excitement. Agree with all of the above. I've been very close to giving up F1 over the last few years but that may be the final straw.

Just how did someone with no F1 pedigree like Pirro become a steward anyhow?

What a brave, practical and bitingly funny man he was. Hilarious that he threw his toys out of the pram just before that, couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.... Mind you, I think Mitch Evans is making that car look very good - always good to see a Kiwi win, and to give Lotterer a taste of his own usual tactics made it even sweeter. Meanwhile, Lopez...

I've put this topic in this section because for UK viewers, other than live timing there is no current option for watching F1 this season, whereas there is now an option to pay for the archive package for £19.99 per annum. I would love for Solihull Moors to win promotion this season, due to our close links to them. I've only been once this season, when they lost 1-0 to former Football League side Barrow. I watched on Eurosport this time and was delighted to see the usual presentation and commentary team (Vernon Kay, Nicki Shields, Jack, Dario & Bob) rather than Eurosport's terrible line-up so I will stick to that since the BBC red button coverage is far too brief.

The prices are ridiculous (even the pre-release 'bargain' price which I think has now expired) and the covers - if that's more or less what they'll look like - are hideous. They don't need the modern F1 branding at all. I'll stick to the VHS tapes for now.
