Re: 2015 Silly Season Thread

I kinda want Button to stay on for a few more years. It's the stability and the routine of it that I like about the guy: he's always there or thereabouts, and he's a welcome personality with whatever he does. Unfortunately McLaren are being as loud as they can about world champion replacements and a...

2009 Japan. Glock was ill and so Kobayashi took part in both FP1 and FP2.

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be allowed to take part in qualifying alone. Practice is meant to be free after all.

Why was there booing ? I'm honestly confused. Either that or I missed that bit before the race where Rosberg punched a spectator, ran over a marshal and flipped the bird at the audience when on the podium. Caterham are naturally shameless, but Kobayashi and Lotterer have done excellent jobs of makin...

I hope you all join me in paying respects to Kamui Kobayashi, for a great, entertaining career. Likely his last race, it'll be sad to see him go (probably along with the team at the end of the year).

Thanks, Kamui :'(

Just rewatched the 2009 Singapore GP and watching the two Toro Rossos come into the pits and retire right next to each other made me laugh quite a lot. I saw that article, and most of them just starting politically ranting at each other. They are causing trouble, same as the Russians are, so what...

It puts Rosberg in a safer situation in that scenario, because if the season so far is to be judged, he'll probably have an ok lead going into the final double points farce, making Hamilton the one more likely to make a dangerous move happen.

2009 Malaysia is the last time Williams were ahead of both of them (I think).
That's because Rosberg was collecting points like he was Nick Heidfeld while McLaren and Ferrari were unbelievably slow and unreliable, respectively.

Yeah, Tony Martin, soz Nibali's come up quite a bit since two years ago, where I thought he was pretty unpolished and wouldn't (didn't always) pose too much of a threat to Wiggins' race. But he came third and this year is going in with a lot of reserves, but also a lot of intelligence. On Sunday and...
