Re: ROTHWP-Rejects of the Half-way point

I am a big fan of Kimi, but unfortunately he was very disappointing, maybe the car does not suit him at all? I hope his fortunes turn like in 2004 (1st half of the season total fail, then McLaren got a new car and that was the boost Kimi needed). I feel that the back surgery he had at the end of las...

Re: 2013 IndyCar season - Contracts signing

Phoenix: I guess you can't get Munoz as he is staying in Indy Lights?

For second driver then: Sam Hornish, Jr. (1 year)
Test driver: Buddy Rice (1 year)

Because who doesn't love old school?

Re: 2013 IndyCar season - Signing managers

Dragon will sign Bourdais to a two year contract. Legge is signed for one year. Carlos Muñoz is signed as a test driver for a year, with a possibility to be the second driver after Legge's contract runs out.

Had to edit as I think I made it all wrong.

Exactly, in real life it's the other way round - Gordon is too dangerous for racing :D

Re: What If?

Seeing a 50-year-old in F1, especially in the mid 90's, would make everybody feel like they were 40 years back.

Re: Alternative CART 1998 (Read latest post!)

Matsuda ended pretty badly with that oval racing retirement. I feel myself pretty wasted for Gugelmin... So I will replace him with Greg Moore for those 4 races. Also, I guess with his price of 4.75m and using his for 4 races (1/5th of a season) I gotta get him for 950k? If so, I will bid 1m exactly...

Re: What If?

Here's mine. What would happen to Bobby Rahal's CART/IndyCar career (and maybe the team he also founded) if he stayed in F1 for more than just two races in the Wolf team? He started racing in CART four years after his F1 stint and between these raced sportscars, but I got no idea what could happen d...
