Re: The _TCC Series Thread

Huge accident in qualifying for the BTCC at croft 8 or 9 cars involved. Luke Davenport and Jeff Smith had to be cut from their cars and airlifted to hospital while Aron Taylor Smith was knocked unconscious. That's crazy! How did that happen? EDIT: Just found footage. Just when I thought this season...

Re: The _TCC Series Thread

Well Plato has been crippled by a bent chassis since his Brands Hatch crash which explains why he is off the pace of Sutton. Price is inexperienced and Cole is well... Cole. To me it seems Sutton's form is representative of where the Subaru is and that there isn't that much wrong with them as we in...

Re: The _TCC Series Thread

That decision by Cook is immensely baffling. You have to feel sorry for Dan Lloyd - great performances in the Honda last year but then the money sadly ran out, and he's been stuck with that awful car this year and mostly been unlucky with accidents often involving other people's mistakes affecting ...

Re: The _TCC Series Thread

What the hell is Cook thinking? And this means we'll probably be stuck with Lines for Croft at least. Maybe he'll put one of his VW Cup drivers in later?

As for Lloyd apparently he lost some of his sponsors due to the awful performances this season meaning he no longer had the funding to continue.

Re: Alt NASCAR 2004 - Driver Bids open!

Yay, our chassis isn't terrible! In fact our budget mobile is a point better than Evernham's Tier 1. Our aero is a little weak but I'm pretty sure aero has the least effect in NR2003. And the Roush-Yates engine I believe is meant to be the most powerful during the mid-2000s. We should be midfield or...

Re: The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing threa

The 2018 schedule has been released. The good news is that there is finally a road course in the playoffs. The bad news is that instead of a proper road course, its a crappy 'roval' track at Charlotte, replacing the fall race on the oval. Also Las Vegas gets a fall race as the playoffs opener with I...

Re: Alt NASCAR 2004 - Driver Bids open!

As we can go into debt. Yates have revised their chassis design plans bumping our design up to Tier 4.

Thus customer chassis are now $400,000 each. We will still supply Kirk with a car for a bargain 250k if they are prepared to up their offer.

Re: Alt NASCAR 2004 - Driver Bids open!

So Robert Yates budget-mobiles are available to independents from $150k each. Kirk Shelmerdine Racing get priority if they pay that 250k offer. That is a salty price for a scrub chassis but since there aren't many Fords available and Roush prices are probably out of touch, Kirk doesn't have a choic...

Junior is calling it a career at the end of this season. You could probably have seen this coming after that concussion wrecked his 2016 season. Josh Price, who had only recently been announced as a BMR academy driver in the Clio Cup. Sounds good to me, at least its not wasted on a random pay driver. He and Senna Proctor will be the youngest drivers in the series at 18 years old.
