Re: ROTY for Motorsports/Non Motorsports

Yes- Mario Haberfeld ! He was going to BE something....and then got to F3000 and really wasnt Has anyone ever discovered any reason why he sucked so much in F3000, especially in 1999? Obviously all I've seen of the season have been some races and season review some years ago but I don't remember re...

BTCC 2018 Round 13 at Croft - Jason Plato, qualified 2nd, finished 2nd, still complained even though he hadn't qualified so high all season and hadn't scored a point in 2018 prior to this race.

F3000 in 1999 has to be Mario Haberfeld, from F3 Champ to the Dave Walker of F3000.

Hungary 1999 - Mika Salo, 18th on the grid, 12th in the race in a Ferrari that he almost won the previous with. Did surrendering the win to Irvine really damage his confidence that badly?

It's an alright article. I'd have put Gianfranco Brancatelli in there since he won the last round of the 1988 season in Steve Soper's Eggenberger Sierra.

If this is happening, ten drivers wouldn't be anywhere near enough to do anybody any justice, especially for the BSCC era. I'd suggest a top 32 (believe me, it's doable). ...nope, we're having ten and that's final. Don't make me have to threaten you with a ban as well, Simtek. (I've already written...

I wonder if it would be possible to do a "Certain-number of the Best Rejects in the BTCC" List? After all, the BTCC is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year and I can think of a few notable F1 Rejects who were successful in that series. Frank Gardner, Joachim Winkelhock, Gabriele Tarq...
