Re: Rich Energy Drops Haas

And what is Rich Energy doing? Seriously, what on earth is going on? The sponsor's pulling out, but they're not, but the boss says so, but the boss is getting fired, but the car is racing with the Rich livery, but it's not racing with the Rich livery. And now Storey has fired out a response stating...

My deepest apologies for linking to an article in The Sun, but there is a great quote in there:

William Storey wrote:“Haas [are] nice people but the car is going backwards.

“We are a superior product to Red Bull.

“A milkfloat at back of grid a disaster for us. End of.”

Looks like Williams dodged a bullet when they lost the Rich Energy deal last year.

This whole business is ridiculous but strangely reminiscent of Formula 1 in the old days.

I've only just noticed that Jake Hughes in still Formula 3. It's his 4th season at F3 / GP3 level and he's 25. How he is still doing this? He should be looking to get a GT drive because won't be progressing much further in single-seaters at his age.

Maybe Patricio O'Ward might be bumped up at the end of the season if he adapts well to Super Formula? Although he doesn't know the Formula 1 tracks so he would benefit from a year in Formula 2.

Lucas Auer is doing reasonably in Super Formula, isn't he?

The thing is, would you trust Vettel to heed that call even if it did come from the top, such as from Binotto? I'll stick up for Pirro - he's only one of the stewards and it's a tough call. If he'd fully lost control I think he'd likely have taken Lewis out with himself. But Lewis w...
