Re: Hembery - want 8 tyre compounds
That is ridiculous. All what is needed is. In a 60 lap race the tires should last Super Soft (10 laps) Soft (20 laps) Medium (30 laps) Hard (45 laps) Interm. Rain The thing is Pirelli can't just magically do that because the compounds don't last the same amount of laps at every track, as Mario expl...

I don't think Lewis did it just for the money, maybe he is counting on Mercedes being the best in 2014 when the new regs are up. After all they are an engine manufacturer and engines will supposedly play a bigger deal after 2014.

When they showed the whole monstrous Trulli train that Seranovich created, going into the tunnel it was really obvious something bad was going to happen. The weirdest thing was that he was defending like that without the rear wing for a few laps already.

Extreme amateurism today in both series first this in GP2:

And then a driver without a front wing crashing into a driver without a rear wing, only to go airborne (no video yet) in GP3.

Re: 2012 comment: Schumacher's Pirelli complaints
FWIW, I don't like the Pirelli tyres either. It discourages people from pushing it in qualifying and the racing is now too dependent on tyre strategy and not enough on the drivers. How many times have drivers tried to launch an attack on another only for it to peter out because they have to look af...

It's funny isn't it, the comparisons with 82 are probably about right, but the odd thing is this season isn't really a transition year, we've had pretty much no change in the regulations except the banning of the blown diffuser, and that hasn't changed too much really. In 1982 there was a whole hos...

I agree with Karthikeyan that this is pure bullying of the backmarkers. I mean they crash into him and still blame him for the problems. That's just arrogant. At least Button admitted it was his own fault (and he was fighting for position back then, not even lapping).

If you have a smartphone you can use SoundHound or a similar app. Basically you play the music, you put your phone near it and it will detect what song it is. This of course pertaining that the song is popular enough for them to have it in their database
