RIP to an extraordinary person behind the roller-coaster that was one of my favourite ever F1 teams. Did anyone ever find out what was in the mysterious Moneytron cupboard?

Hello again, by the way. Been a few years since I posted on here.

Re: How close are you to F1?

I attended the Henry Surtees charity karting event at Brooklands earlier this year (working for a radio station) and as well as meeting the great John Surtees himself I also met, and shared a coffee with, Lucas di Grassi. Very pleasant guy. I also did the circuit commentary at this year's Ferrari Ra...

Whoever nominated Richard Kaye's 1995 BTCC Mondeo, get out - I loved that livery. :P

In fact, I cannot think of a single Super Touring car with a livery that I ever disliked.

By far my favourite has to be Allo Allo, especially Officer Crabtree and his legendary malpropisms. Thanks to him I almost always greet people with "Good moaning"! Also, does anyone else here remember a BBC3 puppet-based series called Mongrels? It only ran for two series and so far no one ...

That smash in R2 happened right where I was standing, and I don't care how strong these cars are - James Cole will probably still be aching now after that one! Real shame that Holland's S3 was wrecked as well, one of the best looking cars on the grid. The support highlights were the Clios - super cl...

Just found another excellently rejectful effort from the UK series - Twn Trwn. Nobody could spell or pronounce its name, it had no weapons and was basically an incredibly detailed fibreglass sculpture on wheels, which barely moved anywhere in its only fight as you can see here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1nKkBvv68g

I *think* that's Barry Nutley, a dead ringer for that awful bloody commentator that ITV saddled us with last year. IIRC he mainly did bikes but occasionally did cars when Murray wasn't available. It is indeed Nutley, and you're correct that he was mainly a motorcycle commentator and was extremely e...

Under UK law (and yes I do understand that F1 Rejects is based in Australia) a deceased person cannot be libelled, so as long as no still-living person is referred to in the profile, it should be OK.
