Re: Unusual F1 Stats

You mean that they switched back to teams over and over again? Because Tuero was at Minardi on three completely separate stints, but never drove for other teams. Giancarlo Fisichella was with Benetton and Jordan, along with their successor teams: Jordan / Force India - 1997; 2002-3; 2008-9 Benetton...

Re: Unusual F1 Stats

If Alonso joins Renault for 2018, he has been at the same team for 3 different periods. Who have already succeeded in doing this? Pierluigi Martini is the only one i can think of. I think Fisichella did it with Jordan/Force India. 1997, 2002/3, 2008/9 Mansell at Williams? 85-88, 91-92, 94. Not sure...

Re: Massa will retire at the end of the season

Goodbye Felipe, you will be missed greatly. The 2008 Brazilian GP is the only time something on television has made me cry. The emotion pouring out of poor Felipe on the podium was heartbreaking. I have watched F1 since 2002 and Felipe and Mark Webber are my 2 favourite drivers of this period (possi...

So "Longbow Finance" have fully purchased Sauber, its sad knowing that Peter Sauber has nothing to do with the team anymore apart from the name, also it seems Monisha Kaltenborn is sticking to the team like a leach even though she no longer owns any shares. Monisha Kaltenborn deserves som...

You get very slow away from traffic lights and pretend you're Mark Webber. You accidentally set off from the traffic lights in 2nd gear and pretend your Nigel Mansell in Mexico 1986. My predictions for 2017 Ferrari Sebastian Vettel Valtteri Bottas Ferrari need a low maintenance team mate for Seb to replace the retiring Raikkonen, and although he isn't that much faster than Massa, Vettel likes Finnish blokes so Valtteri could well become Stefan Johansson mark 2. Rosberg was pretty beast in 2009 when he got that run of points-finishes. Actually, TWR had taken over Hart and merged it with Arrows, and the engines they used were modified versions of the Hart-designed Yamaha engine from 1997. I may be wrong but weren't the Yamahas were built by Judd rather than Hart? I always thought the "Arrows" V10 was an all new Hart des...
