Re: Most Forgettable Drivers

Can't believe no-one's mentioned Tony Trimmer until now. Nah the mere fact he drove for Maki makes him a legend. Other than that? His crushing dominance of the Shellsport/Aurora series in 1977-78. It's criminal that we never got a chance to see what Trimmer was capable of on the international scene.

Re: Ugliest Non-Reject Car design

I still think the ugliest Ferrari was the 1996 F310, with either the low or high nose. Not disputing that. You won't, but I will: https://i0.wp.com/automundo.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Ferrari-312-B3-Spazzaneve-1.jpg?ssl=1 Although to give it some credit, it was an important stepping stone i...

If it doesn't run well, it should at least do it in style, and that's what the Stanley (and later, Jordan, but not that Jordan) BRM P207 surely did:

Re: RCR Stories - The Life and Death of Saab

It's even more of an outsider here, because Saab - as far as I can see - spent so little time in motorsport; Erik Carlsson and Greta Molander's exploits in rallying in the 1960s were about as far as it went. Unless anyone knows of Saab entering, say, the Swedish Touring Car Championship in the 1980...

I've seen this posted elsewhere (probably the same OP), and I've not much to contribute beyond that it looks to me like a home-built special that started life as an Alta, probably one of the F2s that they produced in the early fifties.
