Re: 2016 Bahrain - Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race

For Vandoorne to hop into the woefully powered Mclaren under the pressure of filling Alonso''s shoes, out qualify Button AND score the teams first points is simply remarkable. Good on him.

Mclaren will continue to have a bad time.

I'm curious as to if Vettel can keep up the Merc killing pace as of late.

Re: Get Ready for... The EricssonEra!

Very unfortunate result for Marcus today, a podium or even a win could really have been on the cards with better luck. I'm glad someone else believes a podium is a real possibility for the boy, although even I think it'll take something catastrophic for a win. Hell would freeze over and he'd still ...

Re: Best Reject livery

Perhaps a controversial choice, but I really liked the neon greenish-yellow and blue livery Minardi ran in 2000; http://i.imgur.com/lNR4F0B.jpg I thought i was the only one who liked this! Actually, i think 2000 was a great year for liveries, plenty of variation. God, I love the M02 but who am I to...

I don't know whether one would label it an innovation of sorts but Tyrrell's skirt with the rules in 84 in regards to weight was controversial for sure.

Re: Rejects of LFS: 2015 South City Final now up

With the vacant seats available, I'd like to throw a driver into the mix. American Matt Brinson is looking for a possible home in the series. Jones Racing would like to sign Brinson up to the team as official reserve driver immediately, with Brinson subbing for O'Heagan who is both injured and excl...

This is a no-brainer. Luizzi wins reject by a country mile, way to Leeroy Jenkins the field and cause the proverbial track blocking pileup on the first turn.

David Hobbs = F1 Reject

I'm suprised that noone has mentioned David Hobbs on the site. If you look at his career, he definitely fits the reject criteria with 7 starts and no points. He was always behind his teammates and dreadfully slow in the equipment that he was in. I'd like to learn more about his foray in F1 to be hon...

I have to admit I kind of lol'd at this. Ten years ago you never heard a thing about NASCAR, and now their drivers are suing F1 teams?? Seriously?! Since Montoya demonstrated how difficult it is to cut in the NASCAR grid and win races people grew a bit of respect (Not that Montoya was a F1 great bu...

Re: 2011 German Grand Prix Discussion Thread

Good race in general, pretty interesting there at the end between Alonso and Hammy. Where did that pace come from? Clutch driving from Lewis to take the win. I was hoping for a massive downpour in the last 10 laps just to make things interesting. Poor Massa. What a drive by him to keep Vettel at bay...
