wow, and they say the Brits find it harder to find funding in motor racing than anyone else! Glad to see an exception to the rule here, and for what seems like a very talented young racing driver. Here's hoping their investment pays off.

Re: What If?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but what If BMW had kept Vettel after Red Bull/Toro Rosso came knocking in 2007? would he have been a double world champion yet? I'd have thought he would have got a first team drive at BMW Sauber in 2008 (alongside Kubica), and got at least one win that year....

It's actually been at least 2 weeks since I did this race, so my memory of it probably isn't 100% accurate, but here goes (results are all totally correct though as I write them all down): 2012 Round 2: Malaysia Practice: Everything was fine. That's all I remember. Qualifying: Qualifying was average...

Round 1: Argentina results are now up on the website. There's an excel file for results from all of the 'competitive' sessions across the weekend in the statistics page, but it's a win for Thomas Aston and the Lorrentus crew! Walvianshaw, Ferradino and Maccellaro though are examples of teams with un...

I've got to say, while I like Ben Edwards' commentary style, Sky are winning in these arena at the moment for me, simply because Brundle is so much more informative than Edwards and Coulthard. I've noticed it after 2 races (Australia and Malaysia) watching Sky and now one with BBC (well I turned ove...

Just for clarification, it's only for created drivers that overall ratings are limited for test driver roles. Any driver still in the driver market can hence be used as a reserve driver.

I should have made that clearer actually, apologies.

In GPWS we have a liberal rulebook in that area and always have done, hence people ended up with 8 wheels in the early 90s and it's stuck as it provides optimum mechanical grip.
