Re: Your Reject of the Race - Singapore
1. Daniel Ricciardo: A sloppy race for Danny today. Instead of licking the stamp and sending it, he got paper cuts on his tongue. Other drivers were able to get past the same cars at the same corners without making a mess of everything. I expect better from a driver of his caliber. 2. Mercedes Strat...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Italy
Wow I haven't posted here in years! Hi everyone, I've been lurking for too long. 1. Sebastian Vettel. I fear that 2020 is going to go like Hill's 1999. I don't think Seb is any worse a driver today, but the man is not mentally focused. Too many mistakes under pressure is putting a lot of black mark...

Re: If things were banned based on aesthetics...
After many years, I'd have to say the T-cams on top of the airboxes need to go. Surely they could implement something smaller because I think they ruin part of the cars' elegance. I suppose they aren't as bad as the ones pre-1998; the massive pillar towering over the car. That said, as long as they ...

Let's design a theoretical model for a good circuit
As with any aspect of formula one, we can predict that the makings of a 'good' F1 circuit will not be unanimously agreed on. Just think about some of the circuits you love, that others think you're downright nuts for loving (a case in point is how many love the Phoenix track, while others think it w...

Re: Best Formula 1 Liveries
I think there's a continuing trend in the motorsport world where clean, flowing liveries are the preferred flavour. I think criteria for a generally well received livery include an identifiable main colour matched by another, or complimented by one or two more. Racing stripes are generally a winner ...

Re: Who Became World Champion the Year You Were Born?
We've got quite an age variance! here I was thinking I was a youngster. Alain Prost, 1989 for me.

Re: Good Cars Hampered For Some Reason Or Another
I guess it would have been nice if they opted for the 555 logo, or at least kept the awesome winged pattern for 2000. I Imagine the Honda involvement meant the red+white stays. Apparently the Japanese like red and white cars for some reason... I wonder... The 555 logo always made some kind of comeba...

Re: Good Cars Hampered For Some Reason Or Another
Zonta was to drive the 555 car, and Villenueve was to drive the Lucky Strike car, from what I remember from a book about the 1999 season. I wonder if anyone has any images of the cars in their seperate liveries before the adoption of the split livery? http://www.leblogauto.com/wp-content/uploads/20...

Re: The 'The 2011 IndyCar Series thread' thread
It's very reject-worthy that IndyCar have removed the livestream of races from their website. How do they think that foreign IndyCar fans are going to watch it then? Here in Germany for example, there is absolutely no IndyCar TV coverage. In Canada we don't even get fair coverage, and we host two o...

Re: Good Cars Hampered For Some Reason Or Another
Hows about the BAR 01 (or 001?) You know, the half blue 555, half white/red lucky strike car. They had tons of money from BAT and commissioned Reynard to design the chassis. It was speculated to win its first race. Didn't have access to the sports channel and was in the process of moving from Saskatc...

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk
Hello! I'm Cameron, currently living in Ontario, Canada. I must admit, I've been reading f1rejects since well, years ago. I've also been lurking your forum for over a year. That's right, anonymously creeping your posts, agreeing/disagreeing with your crazy opinions in my head. Many times I thought t...
