Re: #2 Ferrari at Monza
I get the feeling that it will be Fisichella. If the reports that Mallya owes Ferrari money for last year's engines are true, then he's bluffing to try and see if he can get them to waive that in exchange for Fisi. If he doesn't, he's probably fishing for some funding by way of a buyout. After the l...

Re: Most Forgettable Drivers
I suddenly remembered Paolo Barilla the other day. Can't remember him doing anything remotely interesting, just that he turned up in a Minardi for a year. His pasta's very good though apparently. On that note... Olivier Beretta. Did a decent enough job for a pay driver and went on to become one of ...

Didn't Carlos Pace use the same design when he was in F1 back in the 70s?

It does look good, but you're also more or less able to tell that it was slow just by looking at it.

Re: Most Forgettable Drivers
I can also see Kovi being something of a forgotten figure in time... at least, relative to other race winners. By that I mean he'd be more Jean-Pierre Beltoise and less Jean Alesi.

Re: Most Forgettable Drivers
I hadn't even heard about Ricardo Rosset until last year. Sure he made some funny stuff while in the car, especially in Tyrrell, but he is as anonymous as a driver can be. The fact that I've heard the 107% rule referred to as the "Rossett Rule" somewhat frequently disqualifies him from be...

Re: Help me name my car!
How about Karl, as in Karl Wendlinger? I know, I know, he's Austrian and not German, but he wasn't exactly the fastest driver out there and Sauber did use Mercedes engines when he drove for them.

Re: Worst Non-Reject team liveries
I always thought that the 2000 Minardi was so ugly that it was actually good. Like, you know it's horrible, but in a way you can't help but admire the horror. The 1994 Minardi, however, was just a case of "rip off a beautiful car and do everything you can to ruin it aesthetically." Also, w...

Re: Worst Non-Reject team liveries
While not necessarily the worst livery I've seen, I remember the Gitanes livery Ligier adopted for the last two races in 1993 I loved that car. I really wish another team would do that for a race or two. Red Bull, maybe? They seem like they'd be more open to something like that than most other team...

You have to look at the positives... at least they can't DNQ this year like they did in 1980.

Re: Favourite Reject Driver and Team
Favorite reject team? Super Aguri, no contest. They were like an even more lovable Minardi once they apparently figured out what they were doing. I didn't care for them at first and wrote them off as a joke of a team simply out there to make up numbers (Yuji Ide's exploits didn't exactly help with t...

Why not? If the Middle East can have two (three if you count Turkey), then Eastern Europe could still have one even if you ditch Hungary. Besides, I always thought Brno was a good track.
