Re: The 2015 pre-season testing thread

To my knowledge, it was simply a brake on the inside wheel of a chosen side. So if a track had several low speed left hand turns (interlagos) then the left hand side was chosen.

On Montreal it would've been the RHS wheel.

Macau looks shitty from sattelite pics. But is an excellent circuit. Although you couldn't race f1 on it.

You really can't take much from sattelite photos or top down images really. The fact its a street circuit should be cause for alarm though, we haven't had a good street circuit since Adelaide.

Only the regulations make them rev that high. If it wasn't for the limited fuel flow below 10500RPM, these engines would probably rev lower. In the 80's, the turbo's revved to 12K due to the 2.5Bar pressure limit. Limiting the MEP inside the cylinder. Nowadays, with the 3.5 Bar/fuel flow limit, you ...

As for actual RPM, depends on the bore:stroke ratio. But i'd say its more likely to be lower than the current v6's.

I actually don't think he will, I think unlike in 2002, the competition is too close. The championship is over though - due to the change in the points system from 2009 - Button still had it all to do at this stage in 2009 becuase it was only a 2 point differential between 1st and 2nd, now it's 7 p...
