I've actually been thinking about this problem and I think I've come up with a solution. Why not let the teams choose which compounds they want to each race? Re: Tyre Rules

Go back to the beginning of the decade, and most of the dry compounds would spend their time sitting in the garage, never seeing the track - which is an utter waste of money and space. That's 'cos we had refueling. With no refueling it gives the teams an option to do something innovative with tyres...

Personally I think they are bobbins when coupled with no refueling. I think each team should be able to stick any of the available 4 compounds on for qually and any of the available 4 compounds on for the race. None of this buggering about with two being available and you having to use both of them....

KERS might be of further use next year, if they can start using it to improve their relative fuel economy. So will have to carry less fuel that the other cars in the early stages of the race. Obviously towards the end of the race the difference in fuel weights will become negligable.

What it looks like to me is that the FIA, just take people for whatever they think they can realistically get. They knew McLaren could afford the 100,000,000 Euros so they spanked them with it. If McLaren was a team in a similar situation to Renault, they would have been hit with it. Also notice tha...

For the 2nd race in a row Badoer was ROTR in my opinion. He is, and always was, utterly rubbish.

the Corkscrew does not comply with FIA regulations on circuit safety. The cars would ...

Le Mans wouldn't work because there's a lot of public roads that would have to be closed. It's also nearly twice as long as the regulations dictate for maximum circuit length; Spa only just makes it, so at thirteen kilometres Le Mans is too long. No-one would want to watch a twenty-lap race. As for...
