Re: Your Reject of the Race - Turkey!
The way I saw it, from the very intial reaction to the replays was that it was a racing accident and MORE on Webbers shoulder than Vettels. Let's see. A) From Vettels incar, there was no steering movement to the right, atleast not one I picked up, so he didn't intentionally steer right. B) Vettel w...

Mercedes are the new Honda...
I have a theory that Mercedes are at the start of a downward spiral similar to that experienced by Honda in 2007 & 2008. The 2009 Brawn car was a freak which was born out of a long gestation period and caught the opposition on the hop. Even then they could not develop at a fast enough pace to ma...

Since normally aspirated engines became standard in 1989 (and you can go back to 1986-87 for when the concept first appeared, and its origins in the dorsal-type airboxes of the 1970s - and the 1987 AGS!), the concept of having an airbox above and behind the driver's head has been a given. Thoughts for 1990 to 95: 1990 - Lotus Lamborghini - chronically slow, unrelaibel and some said dangerous car which put Lotus on a terminal downward spiral and nearly killed Martin Donnelly 1991 - Porsche - this one is by a distance, massively heavy, unreliable V12 which was basically two Tag V6s bol...

I just noticed that Jenson Button is the only driver to have both an ROTY award and a world championship, is there any hope of another driver completing such a rare double? Timed spectacularly to coincide with the launch of the FIA's 'Make Roads Safe' campaign in F1 this weekend! This puts a focus on the link between F1 and road safety. A nice comment - however, since Toyota probably has very little use for those parts now, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't that bothered about getting the parts back again. Nope, not kidding. I honestly think Ferrari have lost the essence of what made them Ferrari, and that some time at the back would do them some good to remember where they came from. Which is a good reason to watch the new teams - the on board footage of the drivers struggling for grip with relatively less downforce than the established teams makes the look really fast...!

A dead heat between double diffusers and tyres which are too conservative, both will ruin the racing this year unless changes are made very quickly.
