Hope this is in the right place.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=89xBu_u7SVU I saw a couple of screenshots in the caption thread from this and so I traveled on a magical mystery tour of the internet in search of the video itself. So for anyone else who hasn't yet seen i...

Re: Kobayashi to stay on at Sauber

I think Luizzis seat might go to Di Resta seeing how he's already the test driver. Having Chandhok would make financial sense though as I'd assume some Indian sponsers might pop up.

He might go there for 2012 though, as the Indian GP will be then, and I assume Sutil is looking to move on after 2011.

Schumacher I guess. For being so-so while his team-mate is in contention for the World Championship. Virgin for just being laughable is also worth a mention. For Hamilton and Alonso passing just before the pit lane entry, congrats for being racers. What Vettel did towars the exit of the pit lane was...

Re: What circuit do you think would race best backward?

Through the magic of video games I know that Interlagos is awesome backwards (particulary at the Senna S) and Laguna Seca, which I'm not much of a fan of, is alot better backwards too. Theres another circuit which I believe is called Mo I Rana or Arctic Circle Raceway as its the most Northern track ...

They can try but if companies like Prodrive and Lola go for the same spot then it's probably unlikely.

Re: "New races for old! New races for old!"

The tracks I'd like to see stay would be Monaco, Montreal, Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Suzuka and Interlagos. I quite like a couple of the newer circuits, like Singapores Marina Bay, Sepang and Instanbul Park. The rest i'm not too fussed about. In terms of what I'd like to see returning to F1, maybe ol...

If this rule made a return would the 107% come from pole time or the outright fastest qualifying lap regardless of session? For example Vettels Q2 time was quicker than his Q3 time.

Currently Bridgestone make four compounds, and bring the most suitable harder tyre and the most suitable softer tyre. Scrap that and save some production costs! Same harder and softer compounds f...

Re: BBC "Classic F1" index for UK users

I was watching the BBC classic races last night and was somewhat startled to hear a phrase that I thought was a modern F1 affliction and even more startled by who actually said it. Yep, the first recorded instance that I've seen of an F1 driver uttering "for sure" was in Brazil 1984 and i...

Re: A few questions about 2010

I'll answer what I can. Will cars run out of fuel again? I'd imagine not. Then again, it isn't rare to see big teams make mistakes... Will there be 3-4 second tyre stops again? Yes. How will the new teams fare? Will Virgin beat Lotus or vice-versa? I would imagine 3-5 seconds off pace (maybe more fo...

Do Stefan have an actual team though? Or just a driver, a possible driver, a car and some people in some corner of Toyotas facility?

Prodrive for 2011 to be honest. Especially if they use the Gulf livery.

A bit of a dumb question considering how advanced this thread is already, but do those fins give any kind of aero advantage? I don't think so, but I'm no technical expert. I'm led to believe they have no advantage in a straight line but they can offer a little more grip around corners. I read somew...

A ban would get my vote. They take away the distinctive shape of a Grand Prix car, or any single seater for that matter.

We wouldn't want these trickling down into Formula Renault would we?
