Re: The non-diffuser-triopoly, non-McLaren 2009 championship

Post-Bahrain update time! Again two lists: (1) with all 12 original non-DDD, non-McLaren cars eligible for points (2) with Renault and Force India now ineligible for points (i.e. all of the remaining 8 cars scored!!!) After Bahrain, list 1 1. Alonso 23 2. Vettel 21.5 3. Webber 18 4. Bourdais 14.5 5....

Re: Lots of Rule Changes For 2010 (All Listed Here)

Don't forget that Max and Bernie come from a background of independent team ownership (with March and Brabham respectively) and so they've never been overly keen on the manufacturers. But this is the most overt attempt to deliver the big manufacturers an ultimatum for a while. The emergence of FOTA ...

Re: Nick Wirth considering F1 team return for 2010 (No Joke!!)

Pre-qualifying will never (dis)grace Formula One again. The Concorde Agreement makes it pretty clear that there can only ever be a maximum of twenty-six cars on the grid because twenty-six is considered the maximum allowable for safe racing; any more and prospective teams will not be granted an ent...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Bahrain

I already have my comments in mind for the written review and the podcast, but no harm giving everyone an entree here. Even if Toyota decided to switch Glock and Trulli from three-stops to two, the gap over Button at the first stops was, in my view, large enough for either or both Toyotas to stay in...

I'm going to suggest Toyota for throwing away what had been a golden opportunity and the breakthrough they had been after for years. At the end, Jarno Trulli couldn't even catch Sebastian Vettel despite being on the better tyre. Piquet Jr. He did nothing wrong! Sure, he didn't finish in the points,...

Isn't 4th for Hamilton the best quali result for a KERS car to date? The KERS cars are going just as well here as they have anywhere else - if anything they're doing a bit better. Therefore not the most obvious candidate so far, I must admit. Besides, there's a very good article on autosport.com (fo...

2000 ROTY was Alexander Wurz.
2001 ROTY was Jenson Button.

I think the correct decision was made by the scrutineers at the races and that decision has been upheld.
