Re: Reject merchandise that we own

Some new diecast models I purchases in the last months: https://i.ibb.co/0rq45ck/20191216-201136.jpg This 1:43 Moneytron Onyx ORE-1 is the Holy Graal of my collection. Re: Reject merchandise that we own

I was able to gather quite a nice collection of diecast models of reject (or at least less successful) cars over the last years. It was a long, expensive and sometimes frustrating journey, as some models were pretty much impossible to find with a decent price and others were simply impossible to fin...

(Unpopular non-F1 opinion) Formula Renault 3.5 sucks. It sucks a lot. It sucks like hell. Nothing in this universe can be worse than a FR3.5 race. Also, the qualify of the field is far from remarkable. Carlos Sainz Jr. winning the championship so easily and Roberto Merhi, in spite of driving for the...

2014- Caterham: It's quite hard to develop an ugly or lacklustre green livery. And they got it! 2013- Williams: Another challenge: create a blue and white livery that doesn't suit that well. Checked! 2012- Sauber: In a year of good level of liveries, this one stands out because it doesn't stand out....

I have ALWAYS to tell myself than once we had a guy called Michael Bartels in Formula One. And the same goes to Toshio Suzuki.

And then I realize how important is for a reject driver to show up in F1 Rejects. Otherwise, he will be bypassed and thrown in a trash can by our fond memories.

Even though we don't appreciate very much all these lacklustre newcomers from GP2, there is no comparison between them and, say, a driver that spends three years in Formula 3000 to score only two points (Mazzacane) or a driver that simply had no relevant career prior to his F1 outing (Yoong). All in...

FOM are greedy bastards. There's more than enough TV money to go around so that each team gets some. I've never understood why the team that finishes in last place in the championship is not entitled to TV money. It's bloody stupid. Re: 2013 Silly Season Thread

I may be entirely wrong, but I think the reason is someone in FOM has decided some time ago that the optimum size for the F1 grid is 20 cars. That way there's money enough to go around, the series is competitive, and there is very little in the way of 1970s-80s-90s rejectfulness. A shame, really. T...

A driver has to set out the race because he is injured during a benefit football match. I'm quite sure this really never happened. In fact, Mansell became a majority shareholder of Madgwick Motorsport in Formula 3000 after having purchased 51% of its stocks in 1990. But I haven't heard anything about a F1 outfit.

On the other hand, there were some rumours about Nelson Piquet becoming a team owner in 1990.
