Any interested collectors do send me your interests, I strongly need them gone.

How much would one of your 1557 engines be?

As it's a used OSCA Engine from last year, I can sell them for up to 11,000 each with an option going less if it's a little stiff for you.

I'm afraid 11000 is a little too steep, especially as OSCA themselves are selling theirs for only 9000. Would 8500 for one be an acceptable price, considering that these aren't works-maintained engines?

8500 is fine by me. I only estimated the original price myself so I wasn't too sure if it was right. But fairs. How many would you like though?

Driver signings

Because we've got a couple of people who are now to this series, here's how this usually goes down:

All you have to do is submit the number of drivers you wish to sign, accompanied with a list of up to 10 drivers you'd like to secure for each drive. This list can be the same for each drive, or different. You do not have to submit a complete list.

If you do not submit a list before the deadline, you can still sign a driver later, but your choice will be restricted to unsigned drivers.

But this year, there's a twist...

For 1958, you can add a sum of money to your bid. If your team has a large amount of money and/or you really want a certain driver, you can bid any sum of money. This will not guarantee a signing, but it will skew the RNG in your favour depending on how much money you throw at the driver.

Of course, you can always choose not to offer money. You will still be included in the RNG, but with less chance of making a successful signing.

The deadline is Thursday, November 16th 2017 at noon CET.

No huge plans for Ecurie Maarsbergen alone, the team owner himself is good enough.

In terms of the arrangements of the Voeckler/Gordini and ART split...for ART, 150K plus all vehicular assets that aren't Gordini manufactured sounds fair for a privateer effort to roll with?

We are also willing to supply newly constructed cars to the original Gordini specification at build cost to ART if it wishes to continue using such equipment.

Scuderia Ferrari

Ferrari will build four 246 chassis and four 143 engines immediately.

Ferrari's driver selection is as follows;

Seats One & Two
Peter Collins / 30K
Mike Hawthorn / 15K
Onofre Marimón / 5K
José Froilán González / 5K
Jo Bonnier
Wolfgang von Trips

Seat Three
Umberto Maglioli / 15K
Jo Bonnier
Wolfgang von Trips
Libero Liberati
Giulio Cabianca
Masten Gregory

Seat Four
This is a seat share where all drivers are part-time at local events
Tony Gaze - Australia [then retirement]
Jean Behra or Fernand Tavano (in that order) - Monaco & France
Oliver Gendebien - Netherlands & Belgium
Wolfgang von Trips - Germany & Britain
Masten Gregory, Phil Hill or Richie Ginther (in that order, exclude any that signed in seat three, sign a pair) - USA

Ecurie Voeckler
Gordini's former works effort will move to Voeckler's newly expanded workshops in Linas, Île-de-France.

Voeckler will attempt to sign all the following drivers;
Robert Manzon / 5K
Andre Simon / 5K
Maurice Trintignant / 5K

If after this we have less than three drivers, we will continue to attempt signing drivers from this list until we have three in place;
Hermano da Silva Ramos
Jean Behra
André Guelfi

Separately to these lists, Voeckler will also look to sign Georges Burggraff on a part-time basis.

Ecurie Ecosse
Local privateer Ecurie Ecosse is looking to acquire a pair of race ready cars on a dry loan basis for the British GP. It will also look to employ two of its sportscar regulars in the seat, the F1 drives offered in this order;

Ron Flockhart
Ninian Sanderson
Ivor Bueb
Jack Fairman
John Lawrence

Vanwall 254 engine 7 will be put up for sale at £4 000. All of the other 254 engines and VW55 chassis will be sold to collectors.
